While and During का सही इस्तेमाल


While– जब दो घटनाएं एक साथ घटित हो तब उनको बताने के लिए While का प्रयोग किया जाता है। यह एक कंजक्शन है इसलिए इसका प्रयोग Clause (a subject and a verb) के बाद किया जाना चाहिए।

1.मेरे पिताजी कार धो रहे थे जब मम्मी खाना बना रही थी।
My father was washing his car while my mother was cooking.

2. जब मेरा भाई कार चला रहा था तब मैं पुस्तक पढ़ रहा था।
While my brother was driving, I was reading a book.

3. मैं जब पढ़ाऊंगा तुम लिख रहे होगे।
I will be lecturing while you are taking notes.

4. मेरे फोन की घंटी बजी जब मैं टीवी देख रहा था।
My phone rang while I was watching TV.

5. मैं उससे मिला जब मैं लाइब्रेरी में पढ़ रहा था।
I met him while we were studying in the library.

6. मैं नहीं चाहता कि तुम गाड़ी चलाओ जब कि तुम थके हो।
I don’t want you to drive while you’re so tired.

7.खेलते समय उसे चोट लगी।
He got hurt while playing.

8.वह टी वी देखते हुए सो गयी।
  She slept while watching TV.

9.उसने खाना बनाते हुए मिठाई खाया।
He ate sweets while cooking food.

During – During is a Preposition. इसका प्रयोग भी जब दो घटनाएं एक साथ घटित हो रही हो तो उनको बताने के लिए होता है लेकिन इसका प्रयोग किसी Noun या Noun phrases के पहले किया जाता है।

As Long As/ provided that/ So long As का सही उपयोग


ये सब Subordinating Conjunctions हैं इनका प्रयोग किसी वाक्य में “शर्त“(Condition) को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है।
{“जैसे अगर आप ऐसा करते हैं तो वैसा होगा” के अर्थ में}

1. जब तक वह टी वी देखता है, वह खाना खायेगा।

8.   जब तक वह अभ्यास करेगा, वह सफल होगा।

9.   जब तक वह नॉकरी करेगा, पैसा कमायेगा।

As well As/ Not Only But Also का सही उपयोग

Its a correlative conjunction.
When we use “not only . . . but also” in a sentence, it shows parallelism. It is used to connect and emphasize 2 words or 2 phrases.जब किसी का की में “ना केवल यह बल्कि वह भी” या फिर “यही नहीं वह भी” आये तब as well as/ not only but also का Use किया जाता है।
It means that the words following both parts of a correlative conjunction  should belong to the same parts of speech.
For example-
यदि not only के बाद noun आये तो but also के बाद भी noun ही आना चाहिए।
